Collection: Fudges
A dense, rich treat called fudge is usually created using sugar, butter, milk or cream, chocolate, and other flavorings. To prevent sugar crystals from forming, the base for fudge is cooked until it reaches the soft-ball stage, which is between 135 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It is then whipped or swirled as it cools. The end product has a unique semi-soft texture, is creamy and smooth, and has a faint trace of sugar crystals. Fudge is often sliced into bite-sized squares or slabs after chilling.
